Q: What type of care do you offer?

We offer residential, dementia, nursing, respite and palliative care at Langford Park Care Home. If someone is living at home but being cared for by relatives or friends, we can arrange for them to come in for a short stay to give their carers a break.

Medical care is undertaken by a local GP. Visits by the GP can be arranged, or assistance offered to attend the local surgery.

Q: How will you help me settle in?

We have a very thorough admissions process at Langford Park to help residents settle in as quickly as possible.

Members of our care team will go to visit residents at their home or will invite them to Langford Park for lunch so they can get a feel for the home before they move in. On their first day we spend a lot of time with each individual and their family to really get to know them and to complete their care plans.

We have a Relatives Gateway where people can log in and see their loved one’s care plans and we ensure we keep social media up-to-date so relatives can see what their family members have been doing.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

We love animals at Langford Park. We can accommodate pets in some cases, please do discuss this further with our Home Manager.

Q: How will I spend my time at Langford Park Care Home?

Q: What is the food like?

Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared by our in-house catering team with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We cater for specialised diets and for anyone who has specific needs or assistance with the meal preparation or enjoyment of their meal.

Residents can dine in their rooms or enjoy breakfast, lunch and supper in the dining room. Snacks and drinks are also available throughout the day. Our afternoon tea and homemade cakes are always very popular with all our residents.

Q: Do you have any animals at Langford Park?

There are sheep and ponies in the surrounding field. The person who owns the horses regularly brings them right up to our front door so the residents can see them.
